Hi

I am new to this forum and hoping someone can help, I have a long running battle trying to get my 1980 KL 250 running,
I purchased the bike rode it home about 20 miles and the next trip out it cut out and wouldn't run again.(a six mile walk later and nearly a year) I am hoping to get this bike running again.

Last week I managed to get the bike running briefly some how again but now it's back to the no spark at the plug issue.
The bike has a cdi unit fitted to it with 21119-1006, does anyone have a wiring diagram for this cdi unit? there is currently no spark at the plug, there is charge coming out of the stator unit
but I want to confirm the wiring is correct to the cdi unit.

Hopefully someone may be able to help?

Cheers
Shaun

Hey Shaun, I have the same issue, just bought one a few weeks ago, but the wiring is a total mess with extra wiring added.
Did you manage to find some help?

A Kawasaki service manual for you bike will give you a complete wiring diagram and troubleshooting steps to take to resolve your issues. You may even be able to find a free download of a service manual, but if not you can likely find one on ebay or from a retailer.
