You have the chainn drive bike, and that is great!! Get the Factory Service Manual. That's the first step. once you know the valve clearance settings, timing marks, how to remove the carbs and clean them, you'll be way on your way to having a nice little scoot to ride. ;)

You are in good company as there are several members on here who have recently acquired KZ400/KZ440 project bikes. Just use our search engine if you want to find those threads.

Any idea where to get the correct factory service manual?

Oh, and the bike only has 2300 miles on it! I scored on this one. Got carb rebuild kit coming and seals for the fuel selector.
