I'm looking for the right side engine covers for 1983 elr the part #'s are 14025-1426 and 14025-1610. I know there are other models that will fit but not sure what ones.

Bob, you'll also find the exact cover on a 1981-82 KZ1100B GPz. The ones for a J model fit but are silver. The ones for a 1983-84 GPz 1100 work but they have brushed aluminium inserts which say GPz.


You know a 1983 KZ1000R is a SUPERBIKE REPLICA right?

Yes I just found out recently that the 83 was a replica bike and that the sticker on the tank is not signed. I have owened this bike since it was new, so i guess you learn something knew everyday. I have a bad habit of calling it an elr.
I found a salvage yard in Texas that has a 1982 GPZ1100, but haven't contacted him until I was sure the covers will fit.
