I pulled and cleaned the carb and now whenI start the machine it runs good with full choke but as soon as you unchoke it it dies. It will start by pumping the throttle (after warm up) but will not idle. Any suggestions? Louie IIII
I would suggest that you did not fully disassemble the carburetor by removing everything from the body when you cleaned it, and that either the pilot jet or the pilot circuit in the carburetor body is clogged with gunk.
If you did fully remove everything, then check to be sure you did not screw the pilot screw in all the way, it should be out around 2 turns, and then adjusted from there for the best and smoothest fast idle.
