1989 Kawasaki ZXR 750 H1 Carburetor problem.

Hi all,
I recently purchased a 1989 Kawasaki ZXR 750 with the aim of refurbishing it to near new condition. All was going well until we rebuilt the carbs. There are seized parts and the carbs are basically beyond help (sitting for many years with E10 fuel inside). I want to know what other carbs will fit and be a "plug and play" alternative. I dont want to change or modify the airbox etc. When I changed the carbs on the ZZR 1100 I was lucky to get a refurbished set from Japan which were just like new but I have searched and can find no refurbished carbs for the ZXR. Any help would be much appreciated.

According to CMSNL.com, these carbs are unique to the H1 model, so unless you’re prepared to try alternatives, you’re going to have a tough time.

Just my luck. I will just have to try and get the best OEM Carb assembly I can.
I know from experience that the H1 and H2 carbs are different. That’s not to say that the carbs of the H2 (or J or L for that matter) wouldn’t actually fit and work well.

I’ve got some ZX6R carbs on the bench that I’d be happy to take measurements from to see if they would also fit your bike. They aren’t for sale but it may open up your options further. The ZZR600 carbs are also very similar.

That would be very helpful mate. Thanks.
The inlets are spaced at 75mm between centres, the cable take off is on one side. Each inlet is 36mm inside diameter

These are Zx6r carbs, zzr600 carbs are very similar but with a central cable take off so the spacings will probably be slightly different.
