I have a 1993 EX500. It has 5500 miles, and is in really great shape. I'd like to upgrade it a bit and was wondering if I could convert it to the 1994 and up brakes and wheels.

I'm just curious, since the 93 wheels are really dated in appearence, and the bike could use new tires and brake work anyway. I'd like to do it all with 94 up parts.

Any comments??

While I'm on the subject, what about body parts as well?? Will the newer style body parts bolt on? Thanks

You will need to change the rear wheel, swing arm, brake parts, and maybe even the shock and linkage. Overall the rear brake doesn't do squat so the most significant thing that will happen is your wallet will get lighter.
