I need to do the fork seals/gaskets and change the gaskets on the engine as they are leaking oil.

Do you have the parts?

Also, how much is a new gas tank?

I have NEVER worked on a bike, are these repairs you think I can do, or should i go to a dealer? they want like 800 bucks to do it!

If you have never done any mechanical work before, you probably don’t want to do it yourself. Should at least have someone help you that has some mechanical skills. These repairs aren't real major, but difficult your first time. Just my opinion, buts it’s entirely up to you.
