My tail light and brake lights are out. It's not the bulbs. I think I have a blown fuse. The problem is getting to the fuse box! There is a wide bar welded to the frame right over the fuse box. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Hi TommyR, welcome to the forums!

Getting those fuse bricks out can be tricky. I have a 2000 800b ( classic ).

I had to remove the battery, then there is plenty of room to slide those bricks out towards the front of the bike.

Might want to pick up a manual. Lots of good info in there, and worth every penny the first time you try anything. It would also have a diagram and diagnostic for your lights being out.

Also, there is a sub-club for us 800 riders, called the 800 club. See my signature for a link. Get involved there, and odds are good you will get whatever you need.

Good Luck!
