I Picked up my new baby last week but only rode it home from the dealership as I had to go to work. This was my first real rideout. Put 200 Miles on her and was great. Handles well, feels light for her size. Looking forward to many more miles. Now looking at some upgrades..(writing my Christmas list as we speak)

Hope the pictures get added Ok as it is my first picture post.

At the Cliffs at Sidmouth in South West UK

Sidmouth again

These last 2 are in Weymouth up the coast road.

It was **** Cold that day but loved every second.

Nice Meanie! congrats. Where were these pics taken? Nice view.
I live in the UK and the pictures were taken on the South Coast of Devon. IF you are looking at say London on a map of the UK. it is about 230 Miles South West. Great part of the country to live some wonderful roads and very scenic.

You *******...I hate your guts. I want a Mean Streak so bad I can taste it.

How does that baby handle on the highways?
Thanks for the compliment Playboypenguine !!!!

Have not been on highways too much yet as enjoying here on the twisty stuff mostly. Still Running her in but have had her up to about 75-80 and it was a little windy on this ridout, she seems very well planted to the road. It helps as she does have some weight to her but this does'nt show when riding. Feels like a 900 or smaller when on the move, turns quick for a cruiser as well.

Leave it to a limey to be able to under stand when a compliment is hidden inside a verbal attack. :D

I am glad to hear it handles well. It is on my wish list for next year. I hope I will have the money for her.

Keep us updated with some rider reviews as you wear her in.

Ahh, the maiden voyage. Don't get to experience that very often, so one should choose his route and destination wisely. Looks like you did! My wife and I took our first ride on the Classic down to the coast, and had fried shrimp and Shiner Bock beer on the second floor balcony of a restaurant overlooking the seawall in Galveston and watched all the bikes cruising up and down the boulevard.
That's a nice looking ride you got there. It was a tossup for me between the meanie and the classic, and the classic proved to be better for 2-up riding. But the meanie is, well, mean looking. Enjoy it - there ain't nothing like a new bike - and hey, post the mods you're planning for us mod-crazy maniacs!
Congrats and have a bloody jolly time, bloke... or whatever you cats say out there.

Wow, you guys still have pay phones over there. They've all but disappeared in the USA.
Yeah we still got a few but unfortunately all the old style Red Boxes are all but gone, I think they are as famous as London buses, The queen and the Great British Pint of beer !! I head someone down the street from me had one of these new Mobile Phone things you can use anywhere but it is only a rumour..LOL

Awesome pics hawaiian. Great looking bike, nice clean mods too. I do have a few things on my wish list but it will have to wait as the meanie was at the very top of my budget but glad I did purchase it, I am sure I made the right choice.
It is gonna have to be pipes first, new seat for the good lady power commander and filter. once the baby can breath and run how she wants to I can think of more cosmetic enhancements. I had a HD sportster before and enjoyed modding that so watch this space.

+1

What island are you on? I lived on Kauai for 6 years when I was a kid. Man, to be able to ride there, where the air smells like fruit, flowers, and ocean...
Can't say I'm not jealous. :)
