it was so brown and dirty i thought i was cleaning the rear fender on a dirt bike but this was coming out of the fuel tank thats been feeding my cvk34mm
on my Ninja 500 ... :?: iam just shocked what do i do to clean this dirty tank .. if i take the gas cap ring off i might be able to get my arm inside
the tank ... :?: i dont know if shaking some fresh gas around is gona do it here ... ..will it hurt if i cleaned it with H.E.A.T. fuel line treatment or soap & water.... and what about the pecock

Are you sure it wasn't rust and steel swirling around in the tank? Assuming that the tank is rusted I would say look at the Yamaha tank rust remover or Kreem

either YAMAHA's rust remover kit or KREEM kit. both can be bought at the dealer.
you have some TINY arms if you can fit it inside the gas cap hole :shock:
as for the petcock see if you can get a rebuild kit for it or buy a new/used one.
