My mule 2510d is makin a popin noise under the floor board in 2wd at full speed. I suspect the the cv joint or transfer case but thats my best guess. In reverse no pop or at low speed in forward no pop. Any clue? Thanks guys
It could easily be a driveline joint, but I would inspect my 2 to 4 wheel drive linkage and be sure it is actually shifting into 2 wheel drive. These have an override safety clutch that will pop and snap if the rear or front drive axles are turning at different rates from each other when in 4 wheel drive.
The linkage not disengaging 4 wheel drive is usually what we find when this problem arises.
