I just bought my first bike, a 2002 Ninja 500R, and it has bad forks. What years/models will interchange with this bike and where is a good place to purchase them. I did a search and wasn't able to find anything.

Thanks in Advance!

Forks

You have not only the right FORUM, but even the right page...look at the number below 1-800-556-3098. They will hook you up and even give you the 10% discount...without the fine print...Beartooth Kawasaki has your forks!

BOOKS TOO

If you are going to have the bike awhile then it is only right to purchase the SERVICE MANUAL as well. It gives you all sorts of information...diagrams and discriptions...even torque values...and they are NOT expensive compared to snapping off a bolt at 80MPH!

Ah, yes. And when your bike is 30+ years old it could get harder to find manuals! I have an old 1968 Honda CT90 i'm restoring...Have to get manuals off of eBay.
