i got a 2004 500r and i want to get a more "sporty" sounding muffler but dont know where to look... is there that any u ppl can recommend or tell me where to look or where to get them?

ok i have heard of slip ons but dont know really what they are. can u explain? they just screw on instead on stock muffler or what?? is sarachu good brand? what are some good sounding ones ( sound more like a sportbike than the stock 500R muffler)

I like the look of the Sarachu. I think a couple of people on the forum have them...if you look around there was a sound clip and pics of it.

Basically a slip on is about 1/2 pipe overall and slips on over the header - usually bolted to it. A full system will replace your entire header and can section of the exhaust - everything goes and the new system gets installed.
