Yeah, they say the 1500 Classic is again fuel-injected but the compression ratio is still 8.6:1 and the fuel tank capacity is 4.2 gallons. My 2001 is 9.0:1 with a 5 gallon tank. Go figure.

2005 Vulcan Models
I was looking at the Kawasaki site for the 2005 models and was quite suprised to see that the venerable 1500 classic will still be offered in '05. It was my understanding that '04 would be its last year. I guess its still a big seller. Anyway, the color has changed and the price increased from what is was in '04.
