The oil battle is widespread and everyone has their own choices. We use ATF Type F and I've never had an issue in 30+ years. If you do a search on here or or visit the kawi 2 stroke FAQ section, I did a pictorial on checking the clutch and KIPS. One pic has my boys stock plates. When we sold the bike in Dec, it still had the stock plates in the 112cc. New, they were .114", when we sold it, they were .113". 3 years of hard riding and racing and only worn .001".
