hi there,
I was wanting to purchase the saddleman express drifter slant saddlebags for my bike...the 2007 vulcan 900 classic. It says they will fit according to the sticky on 900's.....however I was wondering if I get the jumbo bags will I have to move my back turning lights?
does anyone have these bags...and what do they think of them?

thanx

Hi Laura,

Welcome to the forum. Thoses bags will fit without a problem.

In fact I just got the xtra xtra jumbos and they fit, too, so you should be fine.

I really like the bags, but the "real" buckle is a PITA. I wish it had a hidden quick release connecter like the OEM LT bags do.

OEM bags are the factory bags that come standard on the LT model

They're nice but wicked expensive. That's why I bought the 900LT cheaper to get them in the package.

The Saddlemen bags come with little padlocks that go through the buckle. the straps are only leather though, so if something is truely of value, I wouldn't leave it in a soft bag of any kind.

Thanks Warren for fielding the OEM question.

Thanks Jack. That seat sure is pretty. Comfy, too.

Also on the OEM bags there are quick connects under the buckles. You don't really buckle them. They are for looks. Myself I like the bags but would never buy them separate. I think they list for like $770. Too many other out there that are cheaper.

I'll bet that this pic was your desktop image for a while, wasn't it?

It would have been mine, that's for sure!
Yup it was. Plus a few others.

Kevin just a quickie. Was looking at the Mutazu trunks. Remember reading comments about them awhile back but can't find. You remember any of the comments??
