Was involved in an auto accident and bike sat for a few years in the garage. As luck would have it, something (mouse) got to my wirnig harness. Rather than play the splice/test method, I'm looking for someone near or in Houston willing to run a new wiring harness. I'll pay fair price, just not the ridiculous prices the dealers are quoting (more than the value of the bike... idiots). I'm an IT professional by trade, and would be willing to trade services, including providing hardware in trade. Anyway, hoping someone can help me get back to my weekend rides. I recommendation I have seen from another forum is to cut open the wire bundle. Do not cut the wires but use liquid wire tape and coat each damaged wire with several coats. Let them dry between each application. The mice tend to eat just the insulation and not damage the wires inside.
