I just bought an 09 LTD. It’s in great shape! I took the seat off to unhook the saddlebags, rear rack, and take off some decals. Cleaned and installed the leather bags, but for the life of me I can’t get the seat to fall square which is preventing the bolt from catching properly. I’ve been moving the seat around for a day and I can’t figure it out. It looks like the metal hooks are sitting just inside the brackets and are not falling in all the way so the seat doesn’t sit up against the tank. Honestly, I feel stupid because it doesn’t look hard to put back on, there’s just no room to push it forward once the front tab is in the bracket so the hooks can fall in!
