Well, here she is. Brand spanking new. She's my 4th bike, and "smallest" cc I've ridden. I love it!! It's planted, it has enough power, it's comfortable, and it's fun!

Mid-high 40's mpg is very real-world friendly today and as stated there's the fun and ease of riding factor. Wish I had a pocket rocket.

Bikes in that class are really nimble, great for tooling around town and keeping out of harm's way where traffic is concerned. A bike like that would be perfect for the coastal town where I used to dwell: easy & fun to ride, easy to find parking for it (a tall order on a crowded summer day at the beach), easy on the pocketbook when you're refueling, all that good stuff.
