Newbee here. Just purchased a used 2007 Mule and took it out and climbed some hills in the pasture. When I would stop on an incline for any length of time it would die (I believe for a lack of fuel.) I would have to move it to a level area to get it to re-fire. The gauge shows over a half tank so I am hoping that keeping it nearly full will remedy this problem as I frequently stop on hill sides to spray trees, etc. Anyone have any thoughts?

I doubt you are running out of fuel at the tank because once they do they airlock and have to be bled to start again.

What I would check is the fuel filter for a water block caused by saturated filter media with water in the bottom of the filter unit. When the water shifts it simply shuts off the fuel flow and no air gets into the system, so it will restart once it sets on a level for a bit. Also check for a loose wire on the fuel pump or on the fuel pump relay, they can cause similar problems.
