I have same issue and I thought that was what's going on. But, this is occurring on gravel and dirt road. It is very occasional. Maybe about every 3000 ft of driving in 4 wheel drive.

Update to my issue

It helps if all of your tire pressures match. Put them all at 20 and no more popping.
