we are working on rewiring the quad. the only thing my dad hasn't figured out is the blue neutral wire. he's not sure what it connects to on the front of the quad. does it just connect to the lamp assembly that is under the handlebars that tells if the bike is in neutral. it won't crank in neutral, but will in gear with the brake down.
we do have the service manual. we just haven't found the answer yet.
any help would be appreciated.
thank

the blue wire

If you turn to page 16-37 in your service manual there is a diagram for the circuit you are hopefully wiring. The blue wire is the ground wire that connects starter circuit relay, rear brake light switch, parking brake switch, and front brake light switch. Hopefully this will help and it may not.

thanks joey.
talked to dad, he says it's actually a light green wire that he was calling blue. (aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!) he thinks it works the neutral light, but not sure. we are waiting for the light assembly to come in. it should be here today.
thanks for helping, he said you were right about the blue wire.
