500 LTD got louder

I know they don't make pipes for later model 500 LTD and did not want to go the megaphone option. I had an inline twin with megaphone mufflers and was very loud. Ran across a solution on the VROC forum. Take a piece of rod a little smaller than the i.d. of the baffle. Grind a point on it, stick in the baffle and 4 or 5 hits with a hammer you knock a hole thru the baffle. Its throaty at an idle and really starts to bark at higher rpm's. Its my wifes bike and she was happy with the sound. :grin:
