I just bought a 1978 KZ1000 LTD for $3200- off eBay with 5,875 miles.
The bike looks practically new, with ALL original parts (even exhaust).
I've been searching for about 2 years and this was a hard-to-find, FIND.
Why, the ones with low miles, original paint (mine has 1 scratch on tail),
and original parts go for the most money (Google: 'redlinecycles' & see).
I've seen some NOT sell on eBay because the reserve was about $6000-
and guys stopped bidding at about $5000-. So, if you want to get rich,
you won't really. If you want to make somebody happy, ask for a reason-able amount, depending on condition. Good luck on your decision. Richie
