since the bike doesn't have a dip stick on the oil fill cap how are you supposed to know how ur oil leval is doing on the bike?

2 ways,

1. On the same side of your engine oil fill but lower there is a see through glass, look to see where the oil level is

2. If you don't have a sight glass (I'm pretty sure that model did :)) open the fill gap and take a nice smooth popsicle stick and dip it in, just do a little testing to see where it should be

I've never tried it but you may be able to find a fill cap that has a dipstick attached for your model. I have an 81 yamaha and I know all old models are different but as opposed to an oil pressure light I have an oil level light that will come on if the oil level gets too low, if you have one you know you are okay if it's not on.
