1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 Z1R custom blue metallic paint with stock rebuilt engine. Clear windscreen, 4 into 1 chrome Vance and Hines Header, Dunlop GT-501 tires, Easy Clutch kit installed on clutch, black Super bike grips, 28mm smooth bore carbs with velocity stacks, custom racing seat, new brake pads and Stainless steel brake lines front and back, new dash panel and end caps on firing, custom very bright LED brake light, new factory head light with blue white bulb, blue 10.4mm 409 Taylor racing spark plug wires, new Dyna green coils and Dyna S ignition system, NGK spark plugs, all bolts changed to stainless steel hex head, custom aluminum bar end mirrors, sealed 12v battery, lowered Koni suspension and lots of parts have been replaced or reconditioned. This bike runs great and is a head turner as well as a wonderful classic to add to your collection. Dawson.

Best one I've seen

I only learned of the Z1R just 45 days ago, and I've been obsessed with it ever since. So much so I am buying one tomorrow ('78). Over the past 30 days I have seen hundreds of pictures of the on the net, and your's is the nicest one I've seen. Apologies to the purists out there....I like to tweak things a tad, and I think what Dawson did to his was perfect. The metallic blue paint and black wheels really compliment each other. Let me apologizes in advance....I think I might steal this combination after I get mine. Well...anyway....sweet ride....good luck with it. I'm sure you had no problem getting $5500 for it. Thanks.
