Ok i know this is most likely the dumbest question to date but oh well. I have a 2001 vulcan 1500 shaft driven been laid down by original owner so it needs a tank master cylinder levers and a battery few other things but only cosmetic in short it was on a trade witrh intentions of being mechanically speaking my first project bike to make a bobber but i just came into a 1998 vulcan 800 only thing it needs is a carb im curious as to the compatibility of the 2 carbs could i use the 1500 carb on the 800 and if so what should i do change throttle cables ect. `I miss my early morning ride to the beach for sunrise and nighly rides through our long backroads

The 1500 carb physically will not fit. See your other post.
