Well, the bad side is, my current finacial situation has forced me to put a hold on the restoration and customization of my 82 1000 spectre. The good side is that the financial situation that I am in is I am buying my first house!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am fortunate enough to have taken very good care of my credit and the payoff is I am buying my first house at 21 years of age!!!!!!!!!!!!! W00t!!!!

Ok, well, back to the sad bike story. Since I can't do anything with it just yet, I guess I could make a list of parts I need. Anyone know a good reliable place to find replacable parts for this bike online? Like upper end gasket kits, carb kits, brake pads and other misc. parts?

Congrats on your first house......not many people get to do that early in life!!!!! One of the places I go to for parts is www.uneedapart.com they have parts for autos and motorcycles. Don't feel bad on putting off your resoration. I too have a bike in the garage waiting for restoration-- my BMW R80RT.
