Hi, I have an oil leak at the oil pressure switch on my KZ440. I have ordered the 2 crush washers shown in the parts diagram. The removal looks very simple, but I am a bit nervous about the crush washers. Will I need a torque wrench for the reassembly? Or can I just tighten it up by hand?

Also, why are there 2 washers used? Thanks for your input!

I would use a torque wrench. The FSM at the KZ400 dot com site says to tighten the oil pressure switch to 1.5 kg-m or 11.0 INCH-lbs, but I think it's supposed to be Ft-lbs (not inch-lbs).

1.5 kg-m = 130 in-lbs = 10.8 ft-lbs.
