Hi y'all,

I recently got an 84 GPz 750. It had been sitting for a while. The carbs were drained prior to storage, but not the fuel tank, so I drained that and refilled with fresh gas. I've also replaced part of the gas line (it has a second inline filter) and some of the vacuum hoses that were cracking.

The problem I'm having is this: it fires right up when dead cold, but it won't start when it's at all warm. It sputters a little when I try to start it warm, but it won't actually fire or run.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Jack

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm hoping not to have to disassemble the carbs just yet. I added some Seafoam gas cleaner and took it for a couple short rides today. It behaved pretty well, but I made sure not to stall it.

Next up is an oil change, then I'll start thinking about checking the valves.

Here's a pic I took the day I got it. It's been cleaned up a little since then.
