Hey yall. Just to let you know, I've never owned a bike before but I'm really stoked about this new bike I just got, but now it won't start. It's turning over, but just won't start reving. It seems that it's not getting enough gas but I adjusted the choke and everything, nothing seems to be working. I'm pretty sure this must be a fairly basic problem seeing as how it was running fine a couple days ago. Any help?

I also just got a new used bike. A 1983 KZ1100 L (LTD).

I had the same problem the following day after bringing it home. COLD morning it was. I pulled out the choke but don't think I gave it a couple of quick throttle turns prior to turning it over. I drained the battery!!!!!

I push started it and drove it around to recharge the battery. I looked at the manual that evening and ended up called the fella I bought it from ( a friend of mine). Next day (still cold), I pulled the choke, gave it a couple of quick turns of the throttle, and it fired right up.

hope this helps,
