Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie to the site and I have a question. I just got an aftermarket lower fairing from Air-Tech for my 87 EX500, but the location of the screw holes doesn't seem to jibe with anypart of the bike.
Am I meant to loosen the radiator first, b'cos I was under the impression that the fairing is supposed to fit right underneath it.
Also, there's another set of holes on the bottom part of the fairing that doesn't seem to have corresponding holes on my bike.
Can anyone offer me and kind of assistance with this problem?
Thank you.

You mentioned that your bike is an '87--is it possible that you have a '94+ fairing? Other people who have bought the Airtec have all said that the piece fits in perfectly. Here is an EX500 specific forum if you're interested in asking over there:

If you can, post pictures in that forum and they will be able to give you suggestions pretty quickly. Good luck!
