I just did my 600 miles oil change on the 900 lt, and was checking the belt. it felt tight. What is the proper way to check the belt? how tight should it be? thanks for any info you can give me on this.

Boy are you in for it. This is a hot and often debated topic. Do some seraching and you will find several threads with great info on the belt tension for the 900.
