Greetings all. I'm a 50 y/o guy that has been back into motorcycling for just over 2 years after a 17-year hiatus.
I bought a new ZR-7S in April, 2002 to get back into biking. Since then, I've acquired a totally abused/neglected 1974 Z1A that hadn't been ridden for over 10 years; all that time sitting outside. :(
Initially my plan was to restore it, but replacement parts are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! So now I'm in the progress or building a streetfighter.
Oops. Sorry about the rambling. Just wanted to say Hello. Jim

Welcome!

Parts can be found...you need help...PM me or email me...Happy to have you on board..I'd love to have an awesome 7. Actually, anything sportbike that has a Kawasaki label on it right now. Winter is coming...deals are happening. Beartooth Kawasaki is the place that sponsors the Forum, from Red Lodge, MT. They are great people to deal with and to get parts from. I'd like a lapse in the weather long enough to find a new 2004 or 2005 and make thetrip back to Kansas. As the Rants&Raves Specialist on the Forum, I'd say that we have a great group, like family. Occasionally we get into some sticky stuff. I won't mention the "Ladies Only", but yo will find some areas where you are more than welcome to exercise your freedom of speech. We chat about guns, weapons, all sorts of...fun things. Tank bras, or rather tank G-strings and have fun getting things all twisted for everyone to sort out. Some of us just instigate nad then stir the pot and watch the words fly...and enjoy watching hte forum postings climb, and see who takes the bait, hook, line, sinker...the big fish but not always...some times the bluegill put up one heck of a fight on here...Ya gotta love it. it's ya'll and all ya'll, and don't forget it...we're still having fun...okie-dokie?
