My KZ650 upholstry is ripping out. The foam is good and I'd like to recover it. Anybody have any recommendations? JC Whitney says it has a seat for my 1979 model with 1/2 inch of backing foam for $50. Are these relatively easy to install? Do they look like home jobs? What are your opinions?

Thanks!

Paul

A seat is something you sit on a lot when riding, scrape up some money and wait to get a good seat. I recommend Sargents. They will do customer work off of your seat pan.

This is what they do and all that they do!

Yeah it is real important to get a seat that fits and feels nice, you dont want to just buy one because it is the cheapest. I also need to get a new seat since mine is almost like siting on a piece of wood. You should try some of the local upholstry shops first, i reupholstered my truck seats and it can get pretty frustrating.
