Is there a thread on here or can someone tell me how to adjust the mixture.
Ever since I installed new pipes the bike is running lean, big smell of fuel. I am new to bikes and am still learning things everyday. Thanks for your help

If you are smelling fuel it sounds like you are running rich. Pull you plugs to check. Probably best thing you can do is get a dyno run and you will know for sure with no guessing was to what air/fuel mixture you are getting throughout the power band. If you have not changed out the air intake you should be good at factory settings with just the addition of the pipes.

Thanks

Yes all I did was change the pipes from stock 08 900 custom to HC Sideburners, but the smell of fuel is quite noticable, is that normal just changing out pipes. have done nothing to exhaust

My guess, the bike has likely been running rich for a while, but the new pipes are now just allowing you to smell it either by eliminating an odor that masked the fuel smell or by allowing raw fuel out through them.
