Anyone who did the ******* air box mod regret doing that? I just did it to my 900 today. Only thing I really noticed was more sound from the intake. See what riding to work every day does.

My big complaint is not so much the air box but the cost of the flippin filters. $30 is crazy for a throw away filter. I sure wish K&N made a filter for this bike.

Hmmm seems kinda economically in the long run to buy a S&S filter (enclosed) or Baron/similar kit.

Yea I supose once you get past the choking on $250 for the initial cost.

I did and really liked it but I never heard any engine sounds on mine. Then I upgraded to the BAK even though it looks great the sound from the engine is a bit loud now.

Icberlin - I did this mod over a year ago and have had no complaints. It takes a bit longer in the winter to warm up due to the colder air being drawn in. But other than that I like it. A bit more sound if I remember right. I am used to it now. Also, I still have the stock exhaust. Hope this helps.
