My old friend of 30 years put them on his distance bike, so my son Slicks put them on his 800A, and LOVES them. And I must admit, I feel they are "all day comfortable" ! He also has a T-Bag that sits behind him, and when he gets settled in, NO ONE ON ANYTHING looks more comfortable. In most states, the rule of thumb is that the bars can NOT be taller then your shoulders, and anything higher then level just drains the blood out of your arms anyhow. Hope this helped, ride long, rest, repeat .

My 800 had *mini* apehangers on it. I loved them! I don't think I could ride with the full-sized apehangers, but the smaller bars are really comfortable.

I'm thinking I'd like some mini-apes. I want my hands just below shoulder level. With the Phatrisers I assume I'd need cables too. Hmmm........

Check with my son Slicks. He had all that done to his 800A and JUST LOVES IT !! The only down side was the hoses and cables ! They were a bit pricey.Trust me though, both the look and the feel was well worth it.
