I want to get an idea of how many riders there are in Arizona.
I am thinking of putting together a day or weekend ride if there are a few around the state.
If there are more in the Phoenix area then an evening we can meet and intro ourselves.

Thanks!!

I am going to shoot for end of September....I will put out another post when I get back from vacation September 15......

Does Sept 25 work?
I am thinking of that Saturday would be better for those coming from the North and/or South Arizona, that way if we make the meeting time early you can head back same day or stay the night in Phoenix.
However still not sure on the meeting spot/time etc.
I am open to suggestions.
It looks like there are riders in Phoenix, Flagstaff and Tucson.

Thanks everyone!!

Hello to all..... I'm new here as of tonite. Looks like a good site for bike and ride info. I've been riding Kawasaki's since 1978. My first bike I ever owned was a 76' KZ 900. I've owned a 76' KZ 900, 78' KZ 1000, 80' LTD 1000, 80' Z1R and numerous Kawi dirt bikes. As you can see, the majority of bikes I have owned where Kawi's. I have raced a few at Firebird, mostly just for fun. I've been out of biking for about 4 years now and getting ready to buy a Kawi Concours within the next 60 days. Looking forward to some rides through this forum. I don't know if any of you local riders from Az remember the Sport Bike club back in the early 90's. We would get about 150-200 sport bikes together twice a year. Spring ride would meet at Bell/I-17 and run through Wickenburg, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, and back to Phx. Fall ride would meet at Country Club/McKellips and head to Payson, Heber, Snowflake, Globe, and back home. I was running an 80' LTD 1000 then, probably the oldest bike in the bunch, but it ran great and kept up with all the others. Those where some good rides. I hope to get some rides going through this site sometime after September.

Ok...I need a list of where everyone is coming from.....so please PM or email me rather than me going through the Member list or reading your "author" information.

I want to accomodate everyone.....I don't know, I am going to have to think about this....but I want it to happen, it would be fun!!!

Will confirm when I get back from vacation September 15.

Well if this one is sucessful, there will be another!!
If we have enough people maybe we could have a Phoenix area night ride.
I'm down for that.. If nothing else we could all cruise to the Scottsdale Pavilions and show off our bikes while we check out some cool rides on a Saturday night.
