Well the last ride was fun and I said I would start "trying" to do this once a month....so for right now the next ride will be Saturday October 16.
I am working on where/time etc......
As always I am open to locations etc...so PM, Email or Call me (for those who have my number) :wink: :wink:

Ok, either to Bagdad, AZ:
We will take the 89 out of Wickenburg, go through Yarnell and then catch the 96 @ Kirkland Junction. Ride thorough Skull Valley then either go get some brunch in Bagdad or Prescott

OR

Tortilla Flats:
From the 60 to Idaho Road, follow the signs to Canyon Lake, have brunch in Tortilla Flats, do some "laps".

OR

GreaseWood Flats:
Evening Ride, meet there for dinner
From Pima or Scottsdale Rd., go east on Dynamite to Alma School Parkway, and go south 1/4 mile. Located on the east side of the road.
This is a really cool place, great burgers, cheap drinks and live music, all outside....alot of "bikers" go there but I have seen "sportbikers" too!!

Again open to ideas!!

Here are a couple of suggestions which may or may not be of interest now or later. They are possibly longer than the others but cover low desert,high desert, and mountain pine country:
From East Scottsdale take the Beeline Highway (87) to Payson about 70 miles.
Brunch at Payson or continue N. on 87 to Strawberry for lunch or whatever.
From Strawberry continue up 87 to Hwy 260, about 20 miles. Turn S. on 260 to the Verde Valley. You could stop at the Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde for dinner & take I 17 S. to Phx.
Another route would be to leave Strawberry and stay on 87 thru Pine and on to Clint's well. Turn N. on Lake Mary road to Mormon Lake Lodge steak house, then return to PHX via the same route.
Riders from the PHX area could start at Scottsdale and any Northern riders could join up at Strawberry or Payson.

Hm... 16th Eh? I work in the morning so i won't be able to do like we did before, a 8 or 9am ride. But later in the morning (10am) or evening would be fine.

No one from the forum showed for this ride, but a freind of mine and myself went to Prescott for breakfast anyway. It was a perfect day, a little cloudy, not so hot. Just a nice laid back ride.....well kinda.....I only did 100MPH but my friend (Honda Superhawk) did 151MPH!! CRAZY!!!

Look for next months posting.....thinking of Payson, AZ.
