I removed the baffles from my Cobra Longshots. I love the sound. Its especially fun when i downshift and decel hard. The backfiring happens at least 3-4 times per gear, like a gunshot, and a nice 8 inch blue flame.

So, structurally, nothing wrong with that, right? Its not hurting the engine in my 2003 Vulcan 1600?

Since its an FI bike, im not worried about the compression etc.
