Mine came with 2 round pointy metal pieces that stick onto the inside of the cover, I guess, (the're not mentioned in the installation instructions) to smooth the airflow. If they come loose, they're small enough to enter the throttle body. I'm not sure if they would make it past the butterflys, but with open exhaust pipes they could dance around in there for a while before I noticed I bet. So, glue and gasoline sounds like a bad combination to keep them in place. Anyone tried them?

Mine have held up fine for about 40k + miles, just cleaned the air filter on Sunday and they were as solid as the day I put them in. The design makes a ton of sense if think about it, but does it really make a huge difference, who knows. (Rich...??)
