Awww.....Ken, you are my example that I try to live by!!!! :wink:Well, well, well, I can actually see the pictures now. Very nice ride, Jack, and the tach looks good.
Just another example of how sweet Cheri really is. You Rock Lady!
Yes she is, and, yes she does!Well, well, well, I can actually see the pictures now. Very nice ride, Jack, and the tach looks good.
Guys our age need BIG pictures!
Just another example of how sweet Cheri really is. You Rock Lady!
Thank you!Yes she is, and, yes she does!
I agree, giving some thought to adding risers. (seat first) Then, if needed, risers. A guy on the other site drilled the cowling and put straight extentions through. Doesn't look bad at all. I'm thinkin' that there is no reason it couldn't be cut, drilled, or ground out to accept a pair of risers. Would re-chrome the cowling and have the tach mounted center. Next year's winter project.I'd like a tach on my bike, It tells you so much.
I like the look of the barons on your ride but for me, its out of place not being mounted centerline with the speedo...but i know about the issue with the cowling, and I'm not sure it'd fit behind my windscreen.
good looking tach tho.
You mean that you don't want to take it out solo?Thank you!
Do I rock enough to get a ride on that awesome V2K if we come to Ohio?!
Thanks, It's the same one from my 9. They are nice to have.Looks good, enjoy, I really like my tach.
Oops!!!You mean that you don't want to take it out solo?
I do seem to remember something about a certain red haired gal..........
You want me in trouble too?
Oops!!!![]()
Point taken!!!! However, I would ask Mrs. Jackson first if I was allowed. If she said no, I would certainly understand!!!!
I'll gladly offer my hubby to her for a ride too!!!! Fair is fair!!!
:lol:Oh yeah, Cheri's comment kinda got me thinkin in other directions, but I've said it several times: BEAUTIFUL BIKE!!!
Dead on steady, no. I wouldn't call it a bounce either. More like a flutter and only at idle. Not enough to not know what your idle reads. Same as when it was on the 9. To me, it's a non issue. The tach looks good on your bike. I'm just curious - I've heard there were some issues with the tach needle bouncing around at idle on earlier Barons tachs. Is your tach needle steady at idle?
I went in to look at a new 04. Turned out it was sold and they offered the 05 at the same price. Kinda' cool how the color changes with the light level. Started with a green Kaw and looks like I might end with one.Love that Green color on the V2K. I was trying to work a deal on an 05 Green V2K but they just wanted to much for it because they added V&H Power Shots, PCIII and a Hypercharger, just couldn't get them to deal. Pictures don't do that Green color justice, you have to see it in person.
So I had to settle for an 06 LTD V2K....sigh...somehow I'm getting by...
Great looking bike, and the tach looks good.
I'm wanting a tach also, just not sure how I want to mount it or if I want analog or digital. Decisions, decisions.
