I am contemplating, only in the thinking about stage, buying a Z1000 naked bike. I really like everything about it- the look, the riding position, the power etc. This is a Kawasaki board- so I am going to say someone might say "what about the SV?"- so here is your opportunity- what do you think the best naked bikes from 2003 (the year Z1000 I am looking at) to current? What makes you say it is the best in class?

Oops, I was thinking that the SV is the main competitor for the Z1000 for this type of buyer, so I typed "suzuki" instead of "Kawasaki" in my thread starter LOL- fixed now!

ive ridden the Z1000 and its def. a nice bike but not quite the ZRX (and it was a demo so i did flog it hard)
as for the SV , havent got to ride one yet but im betting its pretty dam nice. whatever ya chose is your choice and i dont think theres a bad choice out there right now.
