Its about time for new tires on my 89 ex 500, and I'm having some trouble finding many options. What sizes of tires will fit, what are the best, and what does everyone else have on theirs?

If they're stock

Front Rim: 2.15 x 16 (OE 100/90-16)
Rear Rim: 2.5 x 16 (OE 120/90-16)

I've had both Pirelli MT68/69 (out of production, I think) and Bridgestone BT45H's (currently 100/90 & 130/90). I prefer the grip and the way the bike turns-in better with the BT45s.

YMMV...

I have Pirelli Sport Demon in stock sizes. Much better grip than stock (looks better too  ). Highway speeds has a bit more wander with these and you pick up a bit more wobble if you take your hands off the handlebar than with stock, but I'd put another set of these on in a heartbeat.

I just got some Sport Demons for my Ninja 250 and they ride great! Keep in mind I'm scrubbing them right now and going relatively slow, but I talked it over with a lot of riders and they all pointed in the same direction.
