What's the best way - and proven tricks - to shave weight off a ZX-1100?
I've already dumped the center stand and have after-market pipes.
Plus I'd appreciate any other mod suggestions.

After rims, replacing calipers can be a big weight savings as well. I dropped a pound off the rear by going to a Brembo caliper on my 636. Replacing the large bolts for the calipers saved me a couple ounces as well. Racebolts is where I go for titanium and aluminum replacements. Their discount code for January is: Jan10 :wink:

LOL at the PERSONAL weight loss! Already considered that, but I'm not a big guy 5-9, 175. Though I could get down to 160...

Thanks for the brake suggestion. I was going to upgrade for safety. Nice to know there's another advantage. Didn't think of that.
