with water and soap :D

just wash it like ya do a car. get brush's,sponges etc. and go to it. wash the wheels first, then the motor, then get your NEW sponge and do the bodywork after spraying it off to get of the dust/dirt.

Washing

they make special stuff and it seems to clean okay...but I like to start with the upper parts and work my way down use several diferen colored sponges for the diferent parts of yor bike and don't be afraid to cut some old paint brushes up for cleaning the tough places like inbetween the fins and places like that. jusrt remember what sponges you used where,,,you don't want to use the sponge thqt you cleaned the bottom of the motor with the nexxt time you want to wash the gas tank. I do the wheels last after the engine..everyone has their own way and reasons...Dry paint brushes, esp good ones, can be sued to get the dust out of gauges betwen the gauges and be used almost anywhere like cleaning your instrument panel in your car, the A/C vents...the fender tight places behiind the license plate unless you wan to remove it all the time...inside the fairings when they have soap inside...easier than a sponge...Brushes are almost as important as a couple sponges anyday. Wet with soap, wet with clean water, or just dry they are great for the hard to get to places...you should get soem cheap ones for some of the jobs and some good ones for the more delicate jobs...and clean them properly afterwards before you stow them. It's nice to have a set of shelves with spare things such as lamps?LED's/ chainlube/ cablelube/ washing soaps, brushes, sponges, a tool box just for special tools (out of sight from people that don't need to be touching/handling delicate carb balance or whatever tools...wrenches, decals, your spare helmet spare gloves, all your bike stuff...including boot polish, greasegun...oils...

Rants&Raves Specialist

As the Forum appointed RANTS&RAVES SPECIALIST I consider it my duty to inform them of different ways and things to do what they already know how to do...Trying to simplify some things for people is like going backwards in the same lane that they are going forwards in and matching speeds...you already knew how to wash a car...a bike isn't much different...Yo uknow not to power wash the engine or chain, or to wash an engine while it is still hot...like touching an exhaust pipe...anyway...I'm long winded most of the time and if you need an answer I can always say i don't know and refer you to someone that should know. I like electronics and chalenges, as they proide opportunities...kinda like being married...yer' always messing with things, tinkering to keep them fine tuned...and she's already chaned her mind several times...Motorcycles are great. you start them you can turn them off, you can make them purr scream humm, you can ride them all day, night long and then yo have to make ure thqat you pamper them or they wn't like it thye next time you try ome foolishness. You keep their chains lubed and they're pretty quiet. you work them to hard and they get tired adn worn out to fast. be gentle keep them in good tires, constantly baby them, polish them, massage the cables and lube the cables, clean their wheels and keep the brake dust off of them, keep the sand out of their bras so you don't get scratches in the paint...just be gentle with them and treat them like a true lady, and they will be good to you. fresh gas, oil, maintenance, some super gas on occasion like a fine wine..and you get a rides that you will remember for the rest or your life, just remember that sometimes taking her out and running her wide open is good or her and she will reqlly respond kindly asw long as you do a proper cool down and keep her safe and away from cars and thngs that could damage her ...These are Kawasaki motorcycles of course...
