I have a '84 700ltd with a hole in #1 cylinder. Anyone know where I can find parts and what my options are (bore out to 750 or such)? bike is way to nice to junk. Any and all help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search of the threads. There are a lot who have rebuilt older kz's.

I just completed the ordeal of an engine rebuild on a 1979 750 twin, including new pistons and valves and all.

Bike Bandit can give you a good price on the OEM parts (if available).

If bot, ebay is the best place to scavenge.

And do Google searches for variations of names of the bike and see what you find. There are junkers parting out old bikes all the time.

You could try Ashbys Cycle 641-437-1842. Another member here just told me of them. They are in Iowa but have lot's of older bikes they part out. Also there is a sticky thread of parts sources.
