i was out riding one day and i thought that the bike was getting slower and i was right any way i'll cut to the chase the front brake had locked on i freed it off but after a few days it starts to lock on again what could be the prpoblem.

You need to service the front caliper. Take it apart and clean the pistons and then bleed the system.
