Hey all,

So I found this web site while I was in search of a repair for my failed brake light. Seeing as how I found the problem and it wasn't listed here I figured I'd share. If your machine has a modulator check it. The modulator on mine went bad. Not like trying to kill me bad, just not working bad.

To determine this was the problem I ran a wire straight from the battery to the hot brake light wire. Probably not a good idea, however, this way you can make sure the light itself works.

After I determined the light worked I ran a wire to bypass the modulator. This allowed me to test the hand and foot brake connections and isolate the modulator. Once you know it's the modulator, it's a simple fix to bypass it.

And yes, every time I write modulator I hear it in Marvin the Martian's voice.
